WHAT WE TREAT

MUSCULOSKELETAL SPECIALISTS

Chiropractic is the third largest health profession in the world, after medicine and dentistry. Chiropractors treat all common back and neck problems that are not of a surgical nature. There are many related conditions which Chiropractic can help: pinched nerves, headaches and migraines, shoulder, knee, hip and other joint dysfunction.

PINCHED NERVES

Misalignment or dysfunction in the spinal joints and discs can cause pain, numbness, tingling and other symptoms that refer to the arms, legs and head. JOINT PROBLEMS

All joints can strain, sprain, misalign, become inflamed from overuse or become aggravated from a problem somewhere else  (eg the spine). The first step is to establish what is wrong and whether it is best treated by a chiro, physio or surgeon.

CORE PHILOSOPHY

Chiropractors have long understand that a well aligned spine has profound health effects. Research has shown in study after study that if the spine is in good health, then so are the nerves. Every cell in our body is innervated by nerves and disturbance (pinching or irritating) these nerves leads to a myriad of potential symptoms as shown in the chart below. For this reason, Chiropractors recommend period adjustments of the spine to maintain good nerve health as well as good mobility.
