Low Back Exercises

With any routine, avoid exercises that hurt or stir up your problem. You should feel good after stretching and strengthening. Discuss any concerns with your Chiro. 

1) This first set of exercises is for general stiffness in the lumbar spine and should be safe for most ages. 

2) These are the classic McGill exercises for safely strengthening the lumbar spine. A safe place to start.

3) This set of exercises is a daily routine that middle to older age patients should do every day. Great for overall flexibility.

4) This set of 3 stretches can often relieve sciatic nerve pain. 

5) Stretching the QL.... deep seated low back muscles. For persistent one sided back pain - makes it easier for your Chiro to realign and unlock the spinal joints!
